Basic Combo - Jab-Uppercut-Hook-Cross
Now we integrate the rear-hand uppercut from last week’s video into a combination - this combo is a great one to practice — it’s difficult to defend as it targets our opponent’s head from multiple different directions.
In this video, we go over two different ways to execute this combo — we can stay stationary and throw all our punches at full length, or we can slide in behind our jab and make our uppercut and hook short and powerful.
If we stay at full range, we’re going to cap the combo off with a switch roundhouse; if we slid in behind our jab to make our uppercut and hook short and powerful, then we’ll finish with a switch knee instead, as we’ll be closer to our opponent.
