Outside Leg Kick

Some mechanics of the outside leg kick and how to throw it on the heavy bag. The outside leg kick is a favorite of many Nak Muay, and very useful to damage an opponent's (usually lead) leg and change their mobility and ability to plant on it.

The long lead hook is a great setup for the outside leg kick, shown in this video in the combination jab-cross-hook-leg kick. Many combinations with a rear-leg kick to the body in the middle of them can substitute in an outside leg kick and work just as well, shown here by the combo jab-leg kick-hook-cross-switch knee.
